Benny Rogosnitzky – Musician with a mission

Benny Rogosnitzky, is an amazing Cantor, it was Johny Gluck, the renowned Cantor of his times, who spotted the talent in him and took him in as a soloist in his band. Rogosnitzky was born in Liverpool, England and from his childhood days he had this inclination towards music and that took him places. He was barely 16 when he began singing solo and the congregation sang with him.
Cantor Benny Rogosnitzky with a Masters Degree in Music from the Royal Manchester School of Music and Art went on to make a place for himself. It was during this time he represented the prestigious Brighton and Hove Synagogue. Rogosnitzky went on to become one of the most renowned Cantors of our times. Appointed as the Senior Cantor of the prestigious Jewish Center on the Upper West Side in the year 1996, where he served for 13 years before moving on to new ventures.
The year 2003 was special for Benny Rogosnitzky, he founded 'Cantor World' with Charlie Bernhaut. Together the duo also initiated many charitable institutions.
