Benny Rogosnitzky- born in Liverpool, England is a popular name in the cantorial world. Benny started singing at a very early age. It was Cantor Johnny Gluck who spotted the talent in him and took Benny into his strides. Benny started his career as a soloist with Cantor Gluck, who himself was a famous cantor of his times. Benny grew up learning the trick of cantorial singing under the guidance that led to his adopting spiritual path.
After having attained the art of singing cantorial music in the year 1996, Benny was appointed as the senior cantor of the prestigious Jewish Center on the Upper West Side; he served this organization for 13 years. Benny accomplished his Master Degree in Music from Royal Manchester School of Music and Art.
During his cantorial career, Benny had performed in with the likes of other great Cantors of the world. He has traveled immensely across the globe promoting his music and talking to curious listeners about the music. He also lectured on the practice of traditional liturgy and modern music.
